The Organic Planet festival will host the Community Alliance with Family Farmers & Conscious Alliance Food Drive. Donors of 10 non-perishable food items will receive a beautiful limited edition
poster or, for 20 items, their poster and a 2009 Organic Planet Festival poster. All donated food will be distributed to Food for People pantries throughout Humboldt County.

With our local food banks experiencing an all-time inventory low combined with a high need among seniors and children, there has never been a better time to participate in the Food Drive at the Organic Planet Festival.

Food Drive collection tents will be located right inside the main entrance to the festival where volunteers will trade participants “poster redemption vouchers” for food donations. The vouchers can be exchanged for the free poster(s) at the Community Alliance with Family Farmers/Conscious Alliance tent anytime throughout the festival.

We encourage food donations to be low-sodium and health-oriented products. “Organic” food donations are especially encouraged. Ramen noodles cannot be accepted in exchange for the free poster.
