How can I contact CATs about the festival?

What items are prohibited?

Smoking will not be allowed at the Organic Planet Festival. Additionally, no outside food and drink, dogs (service animals ok), high back lawn chairs, and audio/video recording devices will be allowed.

What are the hours of the festival?

The Organic Planet Festival will open at 11:00 am and close at 8:00 pm.

Can I buy my tickets in advance?

Tickets are only available at the festival gate!

Can non-profit organizations table?

Yes. Non-profit organizations are encouraged to make the most of the Organic Planet Festival. A special area will be set up for “social-profit” organizations and efforts will be made to draw interest to the tables. These booths will be available at a greatly reduced rate.

How do I get to the Festival?

Take the 101 freeway to Eureka, CA and turn west onto ‘L’ street. Halvorsen Park is located at the end of ‘L’ street on the waterfront

Is the Organic Planet Festival free?

Only if you are 12 or under! CATs wants to include everyone who wants more information on organic living so we offer a reduced rate for people arriving in the first hour. Show up before noon and get in for half price ($5.00 from 11:00 am until noon; $10.00 from noon until 8:00 pm; kids 12 and under are free).

How many people will there be?

CATs anticipates from 3,000 — 5,000 attendees

What are the rules?

Every food and personal item sold, displayed or advertised will be organic. For house and garden cleaning and pest control items, non-organic ingredients that replace toxic chemicals can be accepted.

Personal items are hair and body care, make-up, clothes, toys, household linens and furniture.

Household and garden, cleaning and pest control: ingredients preferably organic but non-organic non-toxic ingredients that replace existing toxic chemicals are acceptable.
